Southern No.1 Middle School and Southern Middle School are the common names of nanbu county natives for Southern Middle Schools. Southern Middle School was founded in the spring of 1924. Its predecessor was Lingyun Academy, which was built in 1887 (Guangxu of Qing Dynasty 13). It became the first batch of provincial key middle schools in 1982, and 194 was rated as a provincial "civilized unit". The whole campus is magnificent, covering an area of more than 300 mu, with a construction area of 6,543,800 square meters.
