Yes Readers can borrow and return books from different places as long as they apply for a reader's card in any library. The library card is a national card, so the card of Yizheng Library can be swiped in Yangzhou. Yizheng Library was founded in 1959 and has been relocated three times. The new library is located in the city center, next to Jinghu Lake and Yangzi Park. Construction began in 2002 and was officially opened to the public in April 2005.
