My No Tobacco Day

Smokeless is difficult, and it is difficult to go to the sky. This is my biggest feeling after the 22nd World No Tobacco Day.

On May 3 1, Japan came to work. Because my family was harvesting crops, I specially asked for leave, so that I could avoid being bombarded by smokers at work, watch the news about tobacco control and do many other things.

I got up a little late in the morning. At dinner time, I turned on the TV to watch Wen Chao Tian Xia, which happened to be an initiative to broadcast "Quit smoking for an hour, and healthy people walk", saying that it called on everyone to quit smoking for an hour from 5 pm to 6 pm. Seeing the topic, my heart was half cold. Is this the activity of No Tobacco Day today? It is so boring. Smoking should be banned for 24 hours today, but you only call on others to give up smoking for one hour! What are you going to do for the remaining 23 hours? If so, World No Tobacco Day should be changed to World No Tobacco Day.

But I was relieved soon, because the subtitle news at the bottom of the screen said that the theme of this year's World No Tobacco Day is: tobacco health warning. Thankfully, it finally smells like World No Tobacco Day, and there is really no smoke in that house.

After drying the wheat, I saw nothing to do, so I went to the county with the information I had already prepared. Walking to the door of the county party Committee, I met the county CDC, which was engaged in the activities of No Tobacco Day, and the popularity was quite prosperous. I am ecstatic. I stopped the car and looked intently, only to know that the activities with others were not quite what I thought. I thought today's activity must be related to tobacco packaging, but the banner above the activity point actually said: create a smoke-free environment and enjoy a healthy life! Isn't this the theme of No Tobacco Day in 2007? Why are you still promoting this? Think about it. After all, the ultimate goal of No Tobacco Day is to create a smoke-free environment. Forget it, as long as it can help achieve a smoke-free environment, any theme will do, so I parked my car and walked to the publicity point.

I asked the propagandist for their publicity materials first, and they gave me one, so I asked if I could get more copies, because I wanted to show them to more people in our village. So the enthusiastic propagandist gave me more than a dozen copies of "A Guide to Quitting Smoking" and a bunch of posters of "Temporary Regulations on No Smoking in Public Places in Xi City", and I specially looked at the posters. Oh, my God, it's still 1998. I thought that taking so many posters back would only mislead people, and the weight was not light, so I only took three, saying one for my family and one for my work, and I took the rest with me. The man who looks like a leader who has been standing by and distributing information asked me where I work. I said that I was in the transportation system, and he said that my tobacco control propaganda target should be people in the unit, because people in the unit smoke more now. Taking this opportunity, I took out my publicity materials. Only then did I realize that I forgot to translate these materials downloaded from the Hong Kong Department of Health into simplified Chinese. There are not many people who can read traditional Chinese characters now. At first glance, the man asked me if I was a volunteer propagandist, and I said yes. He introduced to two female colleagues in white coats that I am a volunteer to promote tobacco control, and my spirit is worth learning. I feel my face is a little feverish and dizzy. I don't know if it's because I didn't get the right information. At this time, many people came from the direction of the county party Committee. The CDC people stopped talking and gave them information. At the same time, they said that today is World No Tobacco Day. Please look at the information, smoke less and quit smoking. I also take this opportunity to circulate the information of the new health development center to them, hoping it will play a role.

I was disappointed when I came to the propaganda point and found that many people were still smoking everywhere. Even after reading the information, most of them didn't put out their cigarettes. A few people remembered to put out their cigarettes only after I reminded them, but many people disagreed, saying that smoking was not allowed to keep people alive. A white-haired old man also said that as long as the country is still producing cigarettes, he will keep smoking. Today's atmospheric environment seems to be not very good either. Although it is sunny, the air convection movement does not seem to be strong, and most of the smoke is advection near the height of people's nose, which makes people avoid it. But at that time, school was almost over, and the arrival of the little dolls cheered the CDC. The man who looks like a leader told me that it is impossible for smokers to give up smoking now. The key is to start with teenagers and not let them smoke the first cigarette. Only in this way, as smokers are naturally eliminated year after year, there will be fewer and fewer smokers around us. Seriously, I don't agree with this statement, but I don't know how to refute it. It seems that I have to work hard in this respect.

A lot of materials will be distributed soon. If the propagandist in the white coat around me doesn't move quickly, the information I gave her will be taken away, which makes me very happy. However, can these materials, which are either unchangeable or from abroad, make the majority of teenagers consciously get rid of the pervasive temptation of tobacco companies? It's really doubtful.

Dinner is coming soon. When I got home, I watched the noon news, but I was disappointed to find that there was almost no news related to tobacco control except subtitles. My father is obviously not interested in today's news of No Tobacco Day. He always smokes, and he smoked several cigarettes during the smoking cessation period advocated by the TV station. Fortunately, he didn't smoke in the house all day. The evening news broadcast was also disappointing. There was almost no news about tobacco control except one related to the report on tobacco control in China in 2009, so I continued to work after watching the weather forecast.

My father smokes in the house at night, so I can only hide outside. Even so, the secondhand smoke I inhaled today exceeded the smoke-free standard I set. This year's No Tobacco Day is destined to be a real No Tobacco Day. You know, for this no-smoking day, I humbly asked the section chief who is a heavy smoker for a day off and promised not to delay my work. In order to avoid secondhand smoke, I had planned to take two days off.

The road to smoke-free is far and long. When will our air be 100% smoke-free?

My smoke-free month

I thought that after the unit moved, it could provide a more favorable environment for our department to realize a smoke-free life. Who knows that the environment in the new office is even worse? Although our department and the conference room are arranged together, a * * * occupies seven big houses, but the computer room is arranged in a closed small house at the end of the conference room except the door. There, as long as someone smokes a cigarette, it won't take more than ten hours, or even dozens of hours, so don't try to make the smoke completely clean. There are only four windows in the six-room conference room outside the door, and most of the window sashes are nailed down, so it is impossible to form an effective convection wind. The ventilation efficiency of this environment is not even as good as that of a house with only one window. No matter whether others smoke indoors or not, as long as I work in the unit, I am actually smoking second-hand smoke every minute.

Colleagues in the unit all think that smoking in that small room is more exciting, so after installing the computer, I sweep out more cigarette butts every morning than before, and the concrete floor in scraggy can't be cleaned with a mop. I wonder how much soot I can save every day. The no-smoking sign hanging on the wall forever alone is completely ignored here and can't be found anymore. Even the smoke-free slogan screensaver I specially made on the computer was deleted by others every three days. In this way, my smoke-free month has only been implemented for two and a half days, and it will never be realized again on the afternoon of May 6.

I want to install a database of pavement bridge system on the computer of my home company, so that I can finish my work at home, but I find that those databases need computer networking, and I don't intend to give up networking at home for the time being. On a weekend in mid-May, I wanted to do some hand-filled materials at home, but I had to go back to the office because I needed to consult the construction drawings and online materials, which wasted a weekend that could have been 100% smoke-free.

I once wanted to control smoking in a smoke-free library forever, but I found that the internet speed there could not meet my requirements at all. Many times, emails that can be sent in a few minutes at work may not be sent in the library 1 hour, but the time limit for surfing the Internet in the library is just 1 hour. I can't do anything here, so I still have to put up with the thick second-hand smoke at work while trying to promote the realization of a smoke-free environment.

In this way, my first smoke-free month after work was postponed indefinitely. After the Dragon Boat Festival, I took two days off to avoid the nightmare of second-hand smoke on World No Tobacco Day.

I thought that spending a lot of money on smokeless high-speed buses could avoid second-hand smoke on the road, but the cruel facts broke my fantasy.

Originally, it only took 15 yuan to go home by low-speed train, but in May, in order to realize smoke-free month, I decided to spend more money by high-speed train. Who knows that high-speed secondhand smoke, which has not been encountered since 2005, has appeared several times this month. The first time was on the afternoon of May 8, when the bus was checked at Weinan West Bus Terminal. Although the driver left the car while smoking, he didn't close the door. The smoke let the wind blow into the closed compartment. When I asked this question, the driver also said that as long as he didn't smoke in the car, it would be fine. After reversing in Xi 'an that night, a middle-aged passenger in the car had a verbal conflict with the conductor because of smoking. Although the cigarette was finally put out under the opposition of a busload of people, the smoke has filled the whole carriage. The man turned a blind eye to this and did not look at the implementation guide of Article 8 of the Framework Convention on Tobacco Control. He plausibly said that it was his right to smoke in the car.

The second time was on the afternoon of May 27th. If I hadn't met the traffic jam, I would have had a chance to take the smokeless train. Unfortunately, as soon as the car drove to the road near the Terracotta Warriors, there was a big traffic jam. A passenger asked to get off and smoke, which made the driver addicted. The driver didn't realize the passenger's consciousness and couldn't wait to start smoking. After the protest failed, I had to get off the bus and walk a few kilometers in the traffic jam with my car until the road was clear. Even so, in the later journey, the car was still full of thick smoke. After reversing, there is still traffic jam in the city, and some passengers can't stand it and smoke. Although they were quickly put out under the protest of the conductor and the pressure of me to circulate the tobacco control materials to the next person, the man was still mumbling. After reading my information, the man still disagreed. An old farmer around me also said that even if smoking is toxic, you should smoke when you should. Really helpless.

It costs me three times as much to take the high-speed train twice, and the time for inhaling secondhand smoke doesn't seem to be significantly reduced. Moreover, I saw the advertisement of Liqun Tobacco Company on the southwest side of Xi 'an Anfangjiacun overpass twice in a row, which made people feel very unhappy. Advertising words are not bad, let the soul travel! However, only smoke-free travel is a healthy spiritual travel! What's more, when I was in primary school, I didn't like "Liqun" very much, and I always wanted to change it into "evil colony", just like changing "good cat" into "bad cat". It's really not worth spending a lot of money on secondhand smoke these two times.

Originally, I thought that although my dad couldn't quit smoking, he could consciously quit smoking in front of me as before the college entrance examination. Who knows that in my hometown these days 10, 28, 29, 30, 3 1, I have to accept the influence of my father's exercise of rights almost every day-smoking secondhand smoke, and even my milk and my mother can't enjoy smokeless air. Even the weekend I spent in Weinan on 23rd and 24th was not 100% smoke-free, because there was secondhand smoke outside my house. Although I quickly posted a note outside the house asking others not to smoke within 5 meters of my home, it seems to be of no help. As long as a tenant with a cigarette passes by my door, the smoke will float in from the door in a short time and refuse to disperse for a long time.

Smoking secondhand smoke every day in smokeless months. Can this smoke-free month still be called smoke-free month?

Smoke-free month activities:

Around the theme of this year's World No Tobacco Day: tobacco health warning, in order to achieve the goal of a smoke-free life as soon as possible, I have mainly done the following work, many of which are done in offices full of thick smoke, which seems to be inconsistent with the goal of no tobacco month, but in order to achieve smoke-free indoor places, I can temporarily accept second-hand smoke.

1. As early as 1 month, the World Health Organization decided on the theme of this year's World No Tobacco Day, but the Chinese version was delayed, which led to the theme that was obviously not the theme of this year's World No Tobacco Day being widely spread on the Internet. Although I deeply agree with this theme-rejecting second-hand smoke, it is almost impossible to achieve a smoke-free environment without taking various measures proposed by mpower series policies, especially measures to warn of tobacco hazards. In order to realize my dream of "rejecting second-hand smoke and letting my lungs breathe freely", I have to give up my rest time and take every opportunity to publicize the theme of this year's World No Tobacco Day determined by the World Health Organization-"Tobacco Health Warning" and its slogan "Pictures Warning Tobacco Hazards". At first, I tried to translate some things for Baidu questioners and posted the English information of the World Health Organization on my blog. Later, I learned the Chinese version of the theme of the World Health Organization.

2. In order to increase the number of visitors to the new tobacco exploration and control forum, I added a link to Baidu's answer page, combining the concepts of ecology, environmental protection and biology, and tried to answer some questions with some latest international materials. However, because there may be some transactions between Baidu and tobacco companies, many similar answers were deleted by Baidu administrators after submission. In desperation, I can only publicize these materials to the questioners of these questions through Baidu's own function of sending information, which has taken me a lot of time. In order to prevent this from happening again, I have to give up those bad ideas and continue to promote them in a low-key way.

3. On the eve of the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, I customized a lot of contents related to tobacco control by using the Google News function provided by Google Search, so that I can receive a lot of tobacco control materials every day, edit them and post them on the new tobacco control and my blog to promote the popularization of the concept of smoke-free life; At the same time, I also re-edited my previous personal tobacco control diary and posted it online for others' reference. At present, this work is still in progress and will take some time to complete.

In order to get more information about tobacco control, I try my best to browse more foreign websites besides the website of the World Health Organization. For people with low English level, one of the more useful ways to search for foreign materials is to use a search engine to search for documents with arbitrary keywords and "pdf" or "ppt" suffixes, so as to obtain Chinese versions of materials published in many countries. In order to facilitate others to access these materials, I am sorting out the links of these materials and preparing to send them. By consulting foreign web pages, my English ability has been improved to a certain extent, but it is far from meeting the needs of work. Therefore, I intend to further study English in order to better read international tobacco control materials.

It was cloudy on Sunday, June 7, 2009.

It was cloudy on Sunday, February 8, 2002.

(due to one or two? Seven events), I embarked on the road of the East with anger and flame.

I don't know where I'm going or how far I'm going. Maybe it's not impossible to stay until dark, or even stay at home at night.

The unusual pollution last night was the root of all this.

Go to the end of Weihui Road and try to make harassing calls, but no one answers. I want to shout into the microphone: I'm making a bomb!

No, I can’t . I can't scare or cheat my classmates like this, especially Liu Dongfeng. I can't let them get into trouble because of pollution. Society is keen on creating pollution, and sometimes we have to obey it, even though it will bring harm to ourselves. I can never do it!

The canal is still the Weihe Canal, but the road will be renamed. The present road is not Weihe Road, but Xibao Middle Line. The road is getting narrower and narrower, but the trees on the roadside are getting higher and higher. Nauseating black mud is flowing in the ditches along the road, and the carrier is messy plastic bags, rotten boards and the like.

Soon, oh no, it should be slow, but now I really don't know if I'm walking fast or slow. I have passed the intersection of Hujiadi and Chuankou Highway, heading east, and heading east aimlessly along Xibao Middle Line. My chest is a little stuffy, and my throat is as uncomfortable as being stuck. This is all caused by pollution last night. Dongdong, Dongdong, I really don't understand. It's 2 1 century now, and environmental protection has been talked about for more than 30 years! Why are people still keen on creating serious pollution? Knowing that this is not good for yourself or others? And this kind of thing often happens where there should be no problems! Scientific evidence has pointed out that indoor air is not circulating and has no self-purification ability. Is this a smoking place? I have studied this question for more than ten years, but I still can't figure it out, so I have to go east, where there may be the answer to this question.

When we arrived at Qishui River, the road gradually widened, and the black water on the roadside disappeared and was replaced by green wheat. A long, curved, thick and dark river flows down from the north, crosses the Longhai Railway Bridge left by the Kuomintang not far from the upstream, drills into the Qishui River Bridge under my feet, and then drips down from the invisible high-speed bridge downstream and pours into the Weihe River, which is already stinking.

I still remember when I was in high school, I hated smoking, and I often couldn't study because there was smoke in the environment. At that time, cigarette smoke was the chief culprit of reducing work efficiency, so in the third year of high school, I could publicly expel smokers on the grounds that learning efficiency needed to be improved. That year, the central media and foreign information made me feel that universities were a paradise for smoking bans. Who knows, now I can only go east as far as possible. Although the weather is not very good and the visibility is less than 5 kilometers, it doesn't affect me to go. I decided to keep walking until I didn't want to.

I will never give up the smoking ban just because I took a sip. I will always oppose smoking in buildings with roofs and walls, no matter how difficult it is! Just like walking today, you won't stop until you reach your goal! I saw a tall beige building standing at the bottom of the slope at the end of the railway, and then I saw a big village. When I passed a railway in grade crossing, I saw wide streets and tall houses on the other side of the railway, and I realized that this should not be just a village. Further on, the road suddenly became so narrow that I almost pushed the cow up by bus. I have nowhere to hide. I left when I saw a path in the north. Through the dark and rugged tunnel, the prospect is bright.

Only then did I find that this is a big railway station, much bigger than Yangling's small station. I tried to get out of the station, but I couldn't find a way out. Just when I was going to ask the station staff, a few lively children made my eyes shine: I can definitely go out with them.

I climbed a big slope to the east along the road next to the station square, then got on the viaduct to the south, crossed the railway and Xibao central line, and then reached the expressway intersection. Only then did I know that I got on the provincial highway 107 from Lantian, and there was still 158 km from here to Lantian! Too far! But I still wanted to go forward, so I got on the Weihe Bridge.

When I decided to go back to the dormitory, it was already dark, and there were still forty or fifty miles to go back! Back in the dormitory, the landlord is going to lock the door.

2002 65438+ February 1 1

/kloc-in the winter of 0/948, Yang Deliang, then the director of the Public Security Bureau of Xi City, the commander of Xi Police, and the commander of the 36th Division, shot and killed a cigarette vendor who illegally occupied the road in the street, causing great public outrage.

It's no big deal to shoot those guys who affect the environment, city appearance and traffic. It's just that that guy Yang Deliang didn't do it to improve the city environment. In addition, it is not his turn to enforce the law and protect the environment. He just doesn't like people, just like watching the student movement that benefits the country and the people. No wonder he also has a nickname "killer".

It is very cold today. On weekdays, in the narrowest part of the street, the street where four carts could run in parallel was occupied by vendors who couldn't even pass pedestrians. The traffic on the road comes and goes in an orderly way. I like this environment, and as Huashang Daily said, foreigners also like this environment. Unlike some people, they always want to make a mess of the environment.

However, it is unnecessary for some people to make the environment messy, which is also related to poor management of relevant units and simple and rude law enforcement methods. Just like that Yang Deliang, if he can be polite, it is estimated that not only the vendors will support the urban management, but also the citizens will not make trouble.

A complete collection of strange things and troubles

1. Ignoring the health of yourself and others, smoking in a closed room.

I don't want to be quiet, and I don't want others to make noise quietly.

3. Littering is rubbish that is not thrown to the designated place.

4. It is better to block the street than to prevent others from walking smoothly.

Some people not only don't actively catch up with the international advanced trend, but also always say that they have done a good job (for example, smokers often say that factory pollution is more serious than them).

6. No one has been paying attention to quality education, but has a soft spot for exam-oriented education that has been proved by science and time to be very harmful to children.

7. In addition to fighting and killing, film and television dramas all talk about love, and never talk about environmental science and peace.

8. Why did I accept the cigarette handed over by others and take a sip? This makes the smoke-free plan that has been implemented for more than ten years so easy to fail completely?
