Weinan Teachers College, referred to as Weinan Teachers College, is located in Weinan City, Shaanxi Province. It is a multi-disciplinary general institution of higher learning with teacher education as its main feature.

The school is an advanced unit of national art education, an advanced unit of national language and writing work, a model school of national language and writing standardization, an outstanding unit of Shaanxi Province, a provincial civilized campus, a provincial garden-style unit, the first batch of demonstration universities in Shaanxi Province to deepen the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education, and a safe campus in Shaanxi Province.

By the end of June 5438+ 10, 2023, the school library had collected more than 2.45 million books, 0.6 million e-books, 25 Chinese and foreign databases, more than 10,000 digital periodicals, 24,567 CDs of audio-visual materials and more than 700 Chinese and foreign newspapers.

Journal of Weinan Teachers College has been selected as the national core journal of humanities and social sciences of China Academy of Social Sciences and the national RCCSE academic journal of China Scientific Evaluation Research Center of Wuhan University. The column Sima Qian and Historical Records Research was selected as the "Famous Column Project" of the Journal of Philosophy and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education.

3. School history:

The school started at 1960, and went through the stages of Weinan Normal University, Weinan Professional Course of Shaanxi Normal University and Weinan Normal University. In 2000, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the former Weinan Teachers College merged with Weinan Education College to form a new Weinan Teachers College.

4. Faculty major

As of February 2022, the school has 15 secondary colleges, international education colleges and continuing education colleges, as well as the Moscow Art Institute, which is a sino-foreign cooperative school, offering 63 undergraduate majors, covering ten disciplines such as education, literature, science and art.
