1953, the Institute of Oriental Culture of Japan Learning Institute photocopied and published 50 volumes of Records of the Li Dynasty. This version of A Record of the Li Dynasty does not include Di Lu and A Record of the Qing Dynasty.

1959, China Academy of Sciences and Korean Academy of Sciences photocopied and published Records of Emperor Gaozong and Records of the Li Dynasty according to the Secret Books of the Golden Cabinet. The Korean version of A Record of the Li Dynasty was translated and published by the Institute of Chinese Studies of the Korean Academy of Social Sciences.
