Establishing the concept of ecological civilization is an important ideological basis for promoting the construction of ecological civilization, which embodies a new value orientation. In economic development, we pay more attention to following economic laws, but not enough attention to natural laws. In some areas, resources and environmental carrying capacity are exploited wantonly, causing harm to nature and weakening the ability of sustainable development. We should realize that human beings are equal to nature, human beings are not slaves of nature, and human beings are not gods of nature. In the development and utilization of nature, human beings should not be above nature, and their behavior should conform to the laws of nature. We must abandon the wrong way of thinking and practice, and fully consider the natural conditions and the carrying capacity of resources and environment in the layout of productive forces, the development of urbanization and the construction of major projects in accordance with the requirements of harmonious development between man and nature.
