The Historical Evolution of Xiping Town
Xiping Town, Xixia County, Henan Province, is located in the southwest of Henan Province. In ancient times, its west was the land of Qin and its east was Wu Chu. Since ancient times, it has been a "channel connecting Shaanxi, Gansu and Qin Chu", where travelers from south to north gather, Qin Feng Chu customs meet and various cultures blend.

Xiping Village was built in the late Han Dynasty, Chengzhen Town was built in the middle of Ming Dynasty, and Xiping Town was built in the eighth year of Qing Qianlong (1743). It faces the hillside in the north and Qihe River and Xiahe River in the south. The circumference of the village is about 2 kilometers, which is divided into three gates: southeast and west.
