Reflections on Xu Xiake's Travel Notes

After reading the book "Xu Xiake's Travels", I was very inspired. I know that Xu Xiake traveled 24 times in his life and experienced hardships, wandering in the great rivers and mountains of the motherland. Let me know that as long as you have perseverance, the courage to struggle and the spirit to overcome difficulties, there is no road you can't walk.

1586 In the cold winter, Xu Xiake was born in a small village in Mazhen, Jiangyin. On the day he was born, his father was 4 1 year old. His mother, Prince Ru, had an unusual dream when she was pregnant with Xu Xiake. After Xu Xiake was born, his parents named him Hongzu, and later he took this word to make it sound, hoping that Xu Xiake would honor his ancestors and revitalize the Xu family when he grew up. Xu Xiake is the second son of Xu Youmian, Xu Xiake's father. His outstanding performance as a child filled his parents with greater hope. The Xu family experienced a tragic experience on the way to the imperial examination, but was completely changed by Xu Youmian. Xu Xiake himself doesn't like reading four books and five classics, but he is interested in ancient and modern history, mountains and seas, and especially in scenic spots around the world. 19 years old, Xu Xiake's father died of illness, and his mother shouldered the burden of the family. Xu Xiake went out for the first time at the age of 22 until one year before his death. In more than 30 years, he traveled 2000 times, of which two were robbed and three were deprived of food. His friend died and fled the crowd. Hardship did not overwhelm Xu Xiake's will to travel.

Great times produce great people because of Xu Xiake's perseverance, courage to struggle and willpower to overcome difficulties all his life-Xu Xiake's Travels.

Students, perhaps on the road of life, whether we like it or not, the first thing we learn when we are born is to learn to walk. Now we have cars everywhere, which is convenient and fast. At that time, Xu Xiake traveled all over the great rivers and mountains of the motherland. What does he use to travel all over the country? He used a pair of feet! Students, let's learn from Xu Xiake's willpower and his spirit, and let's work hard for the goal!
