Basim is a character who appeared in Assassin's Creed: Hall of the Soul very early. He is an assassin, but actually an Ishu, a villain of Assassin's Creed's world view.

He was active in the second half of the ninth century, mainly representing the Levant Brotherhood in foreign affairs.

Character life:

Basim's father was an architect who participated in the construction of Samara Mosque, but after others won honor for his work, he was exiled and died in poverty.

When he was young, Basim was a frequent visitor to Baghdad Library.

In 870, Basim met Sigurd StiQiao Sen in Constantinople and became close friends with him.

Two years later, Sigurd returned to Norway with his invisible apprentice Hashim, where he met Sigurd's adopted sister Ivor.

During his stay in Norway, Basim persuaded the northerners of Raven Tribe to leave this war-torn and resource-poor land, and revealed to Ivor that an invisible enemy was planning a bigger plot-controlling northern Europe and the whole of Britain.
