Optimization and adjustment mainly include the following three aspects: examination subjects, examination subjects and examination instructions:

Optimize the setting of examination subjects and joint examination majors. According to the Ministry of Education's Catalogue of Undergraduate Majors in Colleges and Universities (2023) and Catalogue of Vocational Education Specialty (202 1).

Combined with the reality of Hebei Province, the examination subjects have been changed from the original eight categories of economics and management, medicine, science and engineering, literature and history, art, sports, foreign languages and agronomy to economics and management, science and engineering, agronomy, education, literature, law, history, medicine and art 10.

At the same time, optimize and merge the joint entrance examination majors under each examination category. In order to ensure the quality of undergraduate education, combined with the layout of undergraduate majors in Hebei Province and in accordance with the principle of professional convergence, a comparison table of undergraduate majors (categories) in the general college entrance examination is formulated and implemented. The undergraduate majors that candidates apply for should generally correspond to the specialties of junior colleges (higher vocational colleges).

In terms of optimizing the examination subjects, the general college entrance examination subjects are divided into two parts: public cultural examination and professional comprehensive (occupational adaptability) assessment, with a full score of 500. The public * * * cultural examination includes politics and English, with a full score of 100 in each subject. Professional comprehensive (occupational adaptability) assessment, according to 10 examination category, set professional assessment subjects 1 and professional assessment subjects 2 respectively, with full score 150 for each subject.

In addition, Hebei Province will organize the preparation of a new "Notes on the Integration of Public Culture and Specialty (Professional Adaptability) in the General College Entrance Examination" according to the optimized and adjusted examination subjects, national teaching standards, professional training programs and curriculum standards, and announce it to the public before September 2024.
