The National Library accepts readers over 16 years old (the Children's Library accepts children between 6 and 15 years old); Children accompanied by middle school students and parents can be received on weekends and national holidays; Receive group visits organized by primary and secondary schools throughout the year.
With the ID card, residence booklet, military officer's card, soldier's card, passport, Hong Kong and Macao pass or Taiwan Province compatriots' home visit card, you can apply for the National Library reader card for the first time free of charge, enjoy the basic functions of the reader card, and handle the extended functions according to procedures if other corresponding conditions are met; Children can apply for a children's library reader's card with valid identity documents (ID card, household registration book, passport, Hong Kong and Macao pass, Taiwan compatriots' home visit card), student ID card, and student ID card (see the relevant regulations on handling permits for details);
To enter the reading room and service point, you must hold the national library reader's card; /kloc-China citizens over the age of 0/6 can enter the open-shelf reading room with the second-generation ID card; Children enter the children's library with the children's library reader's card of the National Library.
Cardholders must abide by the borrowing rules and relevant regulations of the National Library. If the violation is serious, the reader card/second-generation ID card borrowing function will be suspended until it is corrected.
Older readers with discount cards can give priority to borrowing; Disabled readers with disability certificates are exempt from internet browsing fees;
Carry-on bags, drinking water and other items unrelated to borrowing are sent to the bag storage office free of charge with a valid reader's card or ID card;
Due to the limited seats, in order to meet the needs of readers, please do not bring personal books (including books borrowed from our library) to the library to study;
Pay attention to the instrument dress, don't wear sports vest and flip-flops;
Please don't smoke and use naked flames in the museum area, and don't bring inflammable and explosive materials into the museum.
Please eat and drink at the designated place, and don't bring food or liquid items into the library;
Please don't entertain and engage in transactions unrelated to reading books and periodicals in the museum;
Please keep the museum quiet, and put the mobile communication equipment in a silent state when entering the room; Unless otherwise approved, photography and video recording are prohibited in the reading room (flash is not allowed);
Please consciously abide by the public order and the management regulations of the National Library, and obey the staff management.
