Why can't university libraries be open to the public?
Most university libraries are open to the society, but there are some restrictions, such as the need to apply for special library cards and reading cards, because the service objects of university libraries are mainly teachers and students of schools, and the space and resources of libraries are often insufficient to meet the users of schools. The resources stored in university libraries are not popular books needed by the general public, but mainly academic documents. Therefore, university libraries can't be completely open to the society like public libraries, but if you need to use the resources of university libraries, there must be such a way.
