1, Palestine
Palestine is a country in the Middle East, which consists of Gaza and the West Bank. Gaza covers an area of 365 square kilometers and the West Bank covers an area of 5,800 square kilometers. The State of Palestine was founded by Arabs living in the occupied West Bank and Gaza. Among them, Hamas occupied the Gaza Strip, while the PLO ruled the West Bank and was supervised by the Palestinian National Authority.
Palestine is dominated by agriculture with a long history, and Arabs are the main residents in this area. The population is about13.5 million, of which the population of Gaza and the West Bank is 5.23 million (202 1 year-end), and the rest are refugees and expatriates. A complete economic system has not yet been established, and everything needs to be done. Pakistan's industrial level is very low and its scale is very small, mainly processing industries, such as plastics, rubber, chemicals, food, stone, pharmaceuticals, paper making, printing, construction, textiles, clothing and furniture.
2. Israel
The State of Israel, referred to as Israel for short, is located in the west of Asia, bordering Jordan in the east, Syria in the northeast, the Gulf of Aqaba in the south, Egypt in the southwest, the Mediterranean Sea in the west and Lebanon in the north. It is the junction of Asia, Africa and Europe.
It belongs to the Mediterranean climate, with high terrain in the east and low terrain in the west. According to the United Nations 1947 Resolution on the Partition of Palestine, the area of the State of Israel is 15200 square kilometers. At present, the actual control area is about 25,000 square kilometers, and the coastline 198 kilometers. The whole country is divided into 6 districts, 30 streets and 3 1 city.
Tel Aviv, the capital of the country, moved to Jerusalem on 1950, but it was not universally recognized by the international community. As of September 2022, the total population of Israel is 9.59 million, and Israel believes in three major religions: Judaism, Islam and Christianity. The official languages are Hebrew and Arabic, and English is also widely used.
Introduction to Israeli landform:
Israel can be divided into four different regions: coastal plains, central hills, Jordan Rift Valley and Negev Desert. The coastal plain along the Mediterranean Sea extends from the Lebanese border in the north to Gaza in the south. The soil in this area is fertile and humid, and it is an important area for agriculture and fruit cultivation.
The eastern part of the coastal plain is the central plateau, the northern part of the plateau is the hills of the Galilee Mountains, and the southern part is the Samaritan Mountains composed of many small and fertile valleys. Further south is the barren hilly area of Judea. To the east of the central plateau is the Jordan Rift Valley, which is a part of the 6,500-kilometer-long Great Rift Valley in East Africa.
Israel's Rift Valley consists of the Jordan River, the Sea of Galilee and the Dead Sea. The Negev Desert consists of about12,000 square kilometers of desert, occupying half of Israel's land area. Geographically, the Negev Desert belongs to the extension of Sinai Peninsula.
