Elevator shaft, referred to as shaft for short, is a vertical passage for elevators to run up and down in buildings. The cross section of the elevator shaft is rectangular or square. Usually, an elevator uses one shaft. Under special circumstances, two or more elevators can be used side by side in an elevator shaft. Open a door hole in the floor of each floor and you can install the well door. The hoistway is provided with a guide rail for the elevator car and counterweight to slide, the elevator car buffer is arranged in the bottom pit of the hoistway, and most motors and transmission machinery are installed at the top of the hoistway.

Second, the elevator shaft structure design specification

1. When there is a space under the pit where people can reach, and there is no safety clamp device on the counterweight (or counterweight), a counterweight buffer must be installed on the solid pier extending to the solid ground (or the lower side of the counterweight operation area must be installed); (mainly for the bottom elevator).

2. Before the elevator is installed, the reserved holes of all landing doors must be provided with a safety fence with a height of not less than 1.2m, and ensure sufficient strength;

3, shaft size should meet the requirements of civil layout, allowable deviation should meet the following requirements:

(1) 0 ~+25mm; when the elevator travel height is below 30m;

(2) When the elevator stroke height is more than 30m and less than 60m, it is 0 ~+35mm;;

(3) 0 ~+50 mm when the elevator stroke height is more than 60m and less than or equal to 90m; Check and accept the hoistway in strict accordance with the above requirements, and make handover records. The hoistway shall be dedicated to the elevator, and no equipment and cables unrelated to the elevator shall be installed in the hoistway.

4. The shaft should be provided with permanent electrical lighting, and the illumination in the shaft should be not less than 50lx. Install lamps and lanterns within 0.5m of the highest point and lowest point of the shaft, and set intermediate lights, and set control switches in the machine room and the pit respectively.

3. What is the cover plate of elevator shaft steel structure?

Glass, aluminum-plastic board, marble, red brick and cement brick are all acceptable.

Generally speaking, the durability of steel structure is the same as that of concrete, and it is dry hung or pasted with marble at the position of 5 meters to prevent rust. If the shaft is decorated with aluminum-plastic plates in the open air, it needs to be on the mature surface of 1- 1, and it usually takes about a week for the shaft to come out completely. However, the steel structure pit still needs concrete pouring and waterproofing, and it should be noted that the distance between the elevator car and the shaft wall should be less than 15cm, and the steel structure is faster, but the steel structure should be waterproof.
