Instructions for readers to enter the library

The National Library accepts readers over 16 years old (children's library accepts children between 6 and 15 years old); Children accompanied by middle school students and parents can be received on weekends and national holidays; Receive group visits organized by primary and secondary schools throughout the year.

● Apply for the reader card of the National Library for the first time free of charge with ID card, household registration book, military officer's card, soldier's card, passport, Hong Kong and Macao pass or Taiwan Province compatriots' home visit card, enjoy the basic functions of the reader card, and handle the extended functions according to procedures if other corresponding conditions are met; Children can apply for a children's library reader's card with valid identity documents (ID card, household registration book, passport, Hong Kong and Macao pass, Taiwan compatriots' home visit card), student ID card, and student ID card (see the relevant regulations on handling permits for details);

To enter the reading room and service point, you must hold the national library reader's card; /kloc-China citizens over the age of 0/6 can enter the open-shelf reading room with the second-generation ID card; Children enter the children's library with the children's library reader's card of the National Library.
