Mao Zedong. The inscription of Weihai Library of Shandong University comes from a personal letter from Mao Zedong to Mr. Gao Feng, a famous ancient philologist in Shanda College of Literature. Shandong University (Weihai), founded in 1984, is a multidisciplinary, open and comprehensive university campus jointly established by Shandong University and Weihai Municipal Government.
