After the Sui Dynasty, it began to specialize in Zhangzhou.

In the fifteenth year of Taihe in the Northern Wei Dynasty (49 1), Dongqin House was established in Xingcheng (now southwest of huangling county, Shaanxi Province), and in the second year of Zheng Guang in the Northern Wei Dynasty (52 1), it was changed to Beihua House.

In the third year of the Western Wei Dynasty (554), the emperor was abolished and Huabei County was changed to Zhongzhou County (now southwest of huangling county, Shaanxi).

In the fourth year of Yuan Dynasty (1267), Luojiao and Zhiluo counties were abolished and merged with Zhangzhou, Yancheng county and Luochuan county.

In the sixth year of Yuan Dynasty (1269), Zhoufang was abolished, and Zhongzhou and Yijun counties were returned to Zhangzhou.

Its jurisdiction extends to the south of Ganquan County, to the north of Jinsuo Pass in Tongchuan, to the west of Huanglong Mountain and to the east of Ziwuling.

Southwest to Xunyi, northeast of Yaoxian and northwest of Tongchuan.

The whole territory belongs to Yan 'an Road.

Ming area remains unchanged, under the Yan 'an government.

In the third year of Yongzheng in Qing Dynasty (1725), it was promoted to Zhili Prefecture, directly under Shaanxi Province.
