Compared with the book rental systems at home and abroad, their management methods have gradually developed to automation and standardization. Functionally, it covers almost all fields involved in the library, and the concepts and functions of ERP system have been introduced into this system.
At present, there are more than 30 kinds of library automation systems developed and used in China. There are plans to create Interlib, Huiwen and Libo, all of which have a certain popularity and occupy a certain number of users. The foreign library automation systems mainly include Aleph500 of ExLihris Company in Israel and Horizon of DYNIX Company in Australia.
