He studied hard all his life and was never satisfied. Even in the case of physical paralysis, he still struggled tenaciously with his illness, persisted in literary creation and made unremitting efforts for foreign cultural exchanges.

Comrade Su Amang left us, but his perseverance and indomitable spirit on the road of literature will live in our hearts forever.

Su Amang, a foreign language wizard in China, has mastered more than 20 foreign languages and esperanto, introduced the culture of China to foreign countries extensively, and made important contributions to cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries.

Seeing this, you will think that he must come from a famous scholarly family with talented and well-educated parents? You are wrong. Su Amang has no prominent family background, and even his parents often can't answer his questions because they have no education. He only relies on a strong thirst for knowledge and enterprising spirit. On Sunday, I ran to the reading room of the library to read Romance of the Three Kingdoms, A Dream of Red Mansions and The Journey to the West. He is deeply attracted by the beautiful and moving stories in famous books and often forgets to go home. He thought it would be nice if foreign children could see these interesting stories. So he made up his mind to learn a foreign language well. An uncle, a clerk in a foreign language bookstore, told him how to learn a foreign language and what he should pay attention to, and he began to learn from the shallow to the deep.

Su Amang is obsessed with learning foreign languages: reading while sitting, reading while walking, reading with a rice bowl in his hand, and even speaking foreign languages in his dreams. One day, on his way to school, he was reading words while walking. He was so careful and absorbed in reading that he accidentally bumped into a big tree and immediately bulged a big "steamed stuffed bun" on his forehead. He looked up at the tree, touched his head again, and continued to read the words on it. He has a neighbor, an Italian old man who lives in Tianjin. He learned Italian by learning from the old man.

When I was in middle school, Su Amang's father suddenly fell ill and died, and the originally poor family lost a strong dependence, which was even more difficult. However, in order to let her children finish their studies, the mother hid her grief in her heart and worked day and night to support Sue Amang to finish high school. Sue amang lived up to her mother's expectations. By the time he graduated from middle school, he had mastered seven languages: Chinese, English, German, Russian, Italian, Spanish and Esperanto. However, due to reading too much, eyes are too tired, leading to fundus bleeding. After the eye disease was cured, Suamang learned 2 1 national languages such as Norway, Sweden, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Portugal and Denmark in a few years. Butterfly lovers, The Legend of the White Snake and other translated fairy tales were published in 18 foreign journals.

A bronze statue of Suamang stands in the Esperanto Museum in Vienna, a famous Austrian city. Esperanto association accepted him as a member, the International Esperanto Museum hired him as a librarian, and the International Esperanto Youth Organization elected him as a member of the Central Committee.
