Changsha Medical College is an ordinary college approved by the Ministry of Education in March 2005 (Jiao Fa Han [2005] No.39), and the first private medical undergraduate college in China. Xiangnan Secondary Health Vocational and Technical School, whose predecessor was 1989, was renamed Xiangnan Secondary Health School in 1996, upgraded to Xiangnan Medical College in 1999, and its headquarters moved to Changsha in 200/kloc-0.
In 20 1 1 year, the school passed the qualification assessment of undergraduate teaching by the Ministry of Education, passed the professional certification of clinical medicine by the Ministry of Education in 20 15, was listed in the construction site of master's degree awarding units in Hunan Province in 20 17, and passed the examination and evaluation by the Ministry of Education in 20 19, which was fully affirmed and highly praised by experts.
202 1 won the title of "outstanding unit for running private ordinary undergraduate schools in Hunan province in 2020"; "Changsha Medical College Curriculum Ideological and Political Teaching Research Center" was awarded the first batch of demonstration centers of curriculum ideological and political teaching in Hunan Province (only awarded to 1 1 universities in the province, and our school is the only private undergraduate university that was awarded the evaluation).
