Information for readers of newspaper reading room 1. Please show your ID card or other valid documents and enter the room to read. Please send your carry-on bags, handbags and other items to the reader service department on the second floor.

2. This room has a collection of printed Chinese newspapers and periodicals published in China in recent years for readers to open their shelves. Please contact the reference reading room or electronic reading room of our library if you need to consult the back issues of newspapers and periodicals. You can also go through the machine-readable procedures in our room and consult the newspapers and periodicals through the computer.

Please take good care of newspapers and reading equipment, and do not scribble, steal, tear or cut newspaper materials. Offenders shall be compensated according to the seriousness of the case at the original price of 1- 10 times.

Please keep the room quiet, tidy and safe. Smoking, chatting, making noise, littering and eating snacks are prohibited.

5. After reading the newspaper, please put it back, put the periodical on the reading table or the cart beside the periodical shelf, and the staff in this room will be responsible for putting it back on the shelf.

The newspapers and periodicals in this room are only for indoor reading. Please don't take them out of the room without permission. Offenders will be regarded as theft. If you need to make a copy, the staff will take it to the reader service department on the second floor for processing.

7. Readers need to retrieve special information due to the topic, please consult the staff in our room.

8. Readers are requested to stop entering 20 minutes before work every day so that the staff can clean up the room.
