Since last semester, the only motivation that can keep me going to the library to do voluntary activities is to help others. I am very happy.
The voluntary activities of the library are mainly to assist the librarians in sorting and classifying books. Classifying and arranging the bibliographic serial numbers of each book neatly constitutes the whole content of the work. Whenever I go to the library to volunteer, although I think this kind of volunteer activity is boring and monotonous, volunteers are very busy every day. Because many people come to the library to read books every day, the books on each shelf are in a mess, and the workload is very heavy, which requires a lot of time to sort out. But as a volunteer, I must have a spirit of not asking for anything in return. I feel good every time I finish the task, and I feel a sense of accomplishment when I look at the bookshelf I have arranged. Because others can find the books they want accurately, I am also very happy. Being a volunteer in the library can not only help the teachers in the library, but also exercise their ability to do things seriously. Why not kill two birds with one stone?
Every time after work, I will stay in the library and read with relish. Gradually, I like library volunteer activities. This semester's work in a voluntary school makes me feel that setting books is not as easy as I thought, but what is more needed is persistence and patience.
Although volunteering will lose time and energy, the fruits of my labor can help others and make me happy at the same time-I think it is worthwhile.
To be a volunteer is to have a spirit of paying for others without asking for anything in return and embrace the whole world with an open mind! It's good to have love. Sow love with your heart and pass it on. I firmly believe that love and dedication will warm the whole world! This is the biggest gain of my first time as a volunteer.
