How to cultivate children to develop good reading habits
Reading is not only a means of learning, but also the most basic and important survival ability of people. Therefore, the study found that the key period of learning basic reading ability is before the age of 8. Therefore, the Guiding Outline of Kindergarten Education promulgated and implemented by the Ministry of Education in 20001clearly put forward the goal of "like listening to stories and reading books" in the field of Chinese, and pointed out the "content and requirements" for the first time. Then only by grasping the age characteristics of children can we choose effective educational methods and promote their development. The purpose, persistence and self-control of middle school children are still poor, so we need to exert positive educational influence, and adults need to provide appropriate support and guidance to create a relaxed and interactive reading atmosphere, which is an important guarantee for maintaining children's interest and enthusiasm in reading and cultivating children's reading strategies and good reading habits. First, suit the remedy to the case and implement the goal. In reading activities, I have focused on the performance of children in activities and found that some children turn around when reading; Some children open books, suddenly turn to the middle, and suddenly turn to the front; Some children simply sit there with books and laugh loudly with them; Even some children stood up and read this child's book for a while, and read that child's book for a while, looking absent-minded. After careful analysis, I found that the reasons for children's poor reading habits are as follows: 1, some books placed in the library area are not suitable for children's age characteristics, and children are not interested in books. 2. Teachers are not clear about the rules of the library area. 3. Teachers pay attention to the guidance of the operation area and ignore the guidance of the "quiet area" library area. After finding the reason, actively improve, create conditions and prescribe the right medicine. First of all, the books I choose in library activities are as diverse as possible. Themes range from children's life to scientific knowledge, from environmental problems to life education, emotion, friendship, overcoming difficulties and so on. And children are exposed as much as possible. The main styles are nursery rhymes, nursery rhymes, poems and stories. , suitable for middle school students to watch. The source of books is not just buying. Some are made by teachers, and some are in tune with children, such as: calendar, book, moon, pop-up book, etc. Let children experience the diversity of languages. Secondly, the books in the library area are screened. The books in the library area are basically brought by children from home, and there are all kinds. So I screened the children according to their age characteristics and chose some short and easy-to-understand stories suitable for middle school students. I will also regularly select some books and put them in the library area to expose children to all kinds of books. On this basis, I set the reading goal for this semester: to teach children to master reading methods, to train children to finish reading a book in an orderly way and to develop good reading habits. Second, take appropriate measures to increase interest. A counselor whose interest is to actively explore something or carry out an activity. Make people have a pleasant emotional experience and get some spiritual satisfaction. Psychological research shows that middle-class children can persist in completing tasks in activities with strong interests and persist in activities with weak interests for a short time. Therefore, guiding and cultivating children's reading interest has become an important link in cultivating children's reading habits. 1, according to the changes of children's reading ability and interest, insist on changing new books regularly, and introduce them to all children when they appear, which will arouse children's interest. And mobilize children to bring some books from home, communicate with each other, and tell stories in books, which can not only increase children's freshness and interest in reading, but also let children share the happiness brought by books. 2. Teachers show concern, interest and appreciation for children's reading behavior with a positive attitude, and pay attention to children's reading time every day. Children are vulnerable to hints, and the attention of adults is conducive to children's lasting interest in reading and enthusiasm for further reading, so that children can develop the habit of "reading books" frequently. 3. Participate in children's reading. In order to make children like books, when they are in the activity area, I often sit in the reading area with them, personally participate in their reading activities and give guidance at any time. For example, tell children story books, think about how children demonstrate the method of turning pages while talking, and encourage children to tell their favorite books to their peers. 4. In special library activities, before children read a book, teachers should know the content of the book and ask children some questions about the content and plot of the book, which can also increase children's reading interest. 5, family cooperation, creating a "small study room", suggesting that parents take their children to the library or bookstore to read and buy some children's books, so that over time, children can develop good reading habits and satisfy their basic thirst for knowledge and curiosity. Third, the rules are clear and consciously abide by them. If interest is the internal driving force that leads to children's behavior, then rules are the external requirements that constrain children's behavior. In order to make the activities of the library area quiet and orderly, I set the library area in a quiet place with sufficient light and formulated the rules of the library area. 1, limiting the number of readers in the library area. No more than 5 people at a time, and ensure quiet reading. 2. When reading a book, read one and take another, and don't compete with others for books. Don't talk loudly when reading, so as not to affect others. 4. Ask children to pay attention to eye hygiene, keep a certain distance between eyes and books, and sit up straight. The above rules require children to consciously abide by in activities and develop good reading habits. For example, before the activity, after the teacher puts forward the activity rules, the children will automatically adjust the number of people when choosing the activity area. Children will generally be on a first-come-first-served basis, and there is no need for teachers to coordinate. Of course, they can't do without the teacher's reminder and help in their activities. Through this semester's efforts, children can basically consciously abide by the rules of activities. Fourth, actively guide and develop its persistence. As we all know, children's ability is very limited, and they can't restrain and control their behavior well and make their behavior obey a certain purpose. The performance of persistence and self-control is to suppress the impulse to reach the destination according to the established purpose for a long time to complete the task. Therefore, in order to cultivate children's persistence, the role of teachers is to give children a clear reading purpose, put forward certain tasks and requirements, help children eliminate the influence of irrelevant stimuli in the external environment, and guide children to concentrate on reading materials. Therefore, in children's activities in the library area, in addition to stipulating some requirements and rules for reading books, teachers should also guide, help and encourage children to learn basic strategies for reading books and increase their reading ability. For example, if they look at pictures, they can find the expressions, movements and backgrounds of the characters and understand the complete story. When children understand it, they will be interested in continuing reading. In particular, kindergarten teachers with reading difficulties should provide supportive help. For example, in reading activities, I found that some children are serious about reading, so I praised and encouraged them in time to let them know what is right and what is wrong. Once, I found Sun Naiqi reading a book. After reading the last few words, I turned over a page. I finished reading one book in a short time, and then I immediately took another book and finished reading the second one at the same speed, and then I went to get the third one. So I went over and picked up the two books he had just turned over and asked him to tell me the stories inside. As a result, he couldn't say anything. So, I first showed him how to turn pages, and then I told him the stories in the book page by page from the first page. He listened with relish. Then, I picked up the second book he had just finished reading and asked him to learn from me page by page. I also invited two other children to be his audience. He spoke enthusiastically, and on this basis, he encouraged him in addition to telling stories about books and pictures. Later, I found that in the library area, he often tells other children about the books he has read, and his reading habits have improved obviously. There is a child named Wang in the class, and his perseverance is very poor. When he is reading a book, he often holds it in his hand just halfway through it. After the rules of the library area stipulate, he can turn over two or three pages of a book and turn over several books in a short time. In order to cultivate his persistence, please ask him to read a book with a task first. Ask him to read a book and then tell me a story. Every time he tells a story, whether it is complete or not, I encourage him to say, "You must read it carefully today, otherwise your story will not make such progress." Or make a suggestion: "you spoke very well today, that is, when the wolf saw little red riding hood, you didn't look carefully enough." Look at the way the wolf is hiding there, he must have some bad ideas in his heart! " Tell me about it tomorrow, ok? "In this way, he studies more and more seriously every day. He is willing to communicate with the teacher through reading and get more praise and affirmation from the teacher. Unconsciously, his persistence in reading increased. In short, the formation of good reading habits can not be separated from the joint efforts of teachers and children. The children in our class have made great progress in reading. They can basically read a book carefully, or they can explain the content according to their own understanding by reading the pictures in the book. They also know that when reading, they should not influence others, know that they should finish everything and stick to it, and initially form good reading habits. But this is only the beginning for us, and we still need to keep learning and work hard towards higher goals.
