Shandong University Library was founded in 190 1, and was formed by the merger and reorganization of the former Shandong University Library, Shandong Medical University Library and Shandong Polytechnic University Library in July 2000. It is a comprehensive university library with a long history, rich collections and distinctive features, which has great influence at home and abroad. The library of Shandong University (Weihai) and the library of Shandong University are relatively independent and use different inquiry systems, so students in the two places cannot borrow books from each other.
