Looking back on the 200 stories I wrote about Tang poetry and Song poetry, I think a glimpse of the whole leopard can verify how thought-provoking and amazing the infinite Tang poetry and Song poetry is! These stories all have their origins and generally show us the customs of ancient people's lives. After I try to rewrite and expand them in a popular and vivid way, I may be able to enrich and enrich the descriptions in ancient books, so that readers can really understand the charming Tang and Song styles.
A traditional cultural reading that appeals to both refined and popular tastes.
-A Yuan, a young scholar of Wen's family, The Story of Tang Poetry and The Story of Song Poetry.
The popularity of Yi Zhongtian and Yu Dan is probably the most noteworthy cultural phenomenon today. I thought that the new books "300 Tang Poems" and "300 Song Poems" by A Yuan, a Wenzhou native, had similar characteristics. These two books are extremely popular, but they are rich in traditional culture.
At present, there are not many books about Tang poetry and Song poetry in the book market, but many of them are just for academic inquiry and are abstruse and boring; Others only tell stories, which are simple and have no academic connotation. This is a great pity.
Three hundred Tang Poems and Three Hundred Song Poems published by Kyushu Publishing House make up for this defect. The two books tell the life stories of 100 famous poets in the Tang and Song Dynasties, and each story involves many works because of people and events. Therefore, this book is not only a simple anecdote, but also related textual research and analysis. It is both literary and academic, elegant and popular, and highly readable. Through these stories, we not only appreciate Tang poetry and Song poetry from another level, but also take us into the depths of classical literature. In addition, through these poems, we can deeply understand the social life in the Tang and Song Dynasties, which will help us to have a more comprehensive understanding of the traditional society in China.
Perhaps because of this, Li Guowen, a famous writer, wrote back to the author after reading 300 Tang Poems, saying: This is of course a book that needs knowledge and insight, and it is also a book that can see thoughts and temperament.
A Yuan (formerly known as Chen Zhongyuan), born in Yongjia, is a young scholar of Wen family. He loved Tang poetry and Song poetry since he was a child, and began to try to create metrical poems in junior high school. Perhaps this is the reason why this book has the above characteristics.
After all, Yuan wrote this book with a story worth telling. Kyushu Publishing House has long planned to publish The Story of Tang Poetry and The Story of Song Poetry. Four years ago, two senior professors from Peking University were invited to write two books separately. The requirements of publishers should be not only detailed and reliable, but also readable, easy to understand and even interesting. Unfortunately, the sample chapters of the two professors failed to meet the requirements of the publishing house, so the topic selection was shelved for several years. Coincidentally, last year, A Yuan went to the publishing house for other publishing matters. In a chat outside of business, the editor learned that A Yuan likes poetry and suggested that he try to write about this topic. After he came back, he wrote two samples, which were passed immediately after being sent.
After that, he forgot to eat and sleep, and devoted himself to data collection day and night. Each of the two books covered nearly 500 related ancient books. Moreover, A Yuan (played by Chen Zhongyuan) once had a strange experience. He browsed eight books overnight, including Meng Qian's Bitan, Jade Ion, Notes of Song People, A Dream in the North, Selected Poems of Tang Dynasty in Jing Wong, History of Tang Que and Yunxi Entertainment! As there were no books at hand, he went to the National Library to find rare books for collation and borrowed books from friends around him. For example, central research institute of culture and history librarian and former deputy editor-in-chief of Zhonghua Book Company, Mr. Cheng Yizhong, was harassed by him.
A Yuan's new books The Story of Tang Poetry and The Story of Song Poetry, published in the second half of last year, have been welcomed by many readers who love Tang poetry and Song poetry.
