Naked art theory
Author: Chen Zui
The Theory of Naked Art is the first academic monograph on nude art in China. With the history of human cultural development as the background and sexual consciousness as the main line, the author Chen Zui systematically combed the nude art of five continents from primitive culture to modern and contemporary culture, analyzed and studied it from the perspectives of aesthetics, art history theory, anthropology and gender sociology, and made a comprehensive analysis of the emergence, development and social significance of nude art with novel views and unique perspectives. The first edition 1987 1 1 has been highly praised by the academic circles, and it is considered as a landmark research achievement to fill in gaps and open up fields, which is of special significance in contemporary art history and even cultural history. In the year of 1988 alone, the book printed 200,000 copies and distributed at home and abroad, creating a miracle that academic monographs became bestsellers in the publishing history. The Theory of Naked Art won the National Book Golden Key Award 1988, the Top Ten Best-sellers Award 1988, and the Outstanding Scientific Research Achievement Award 1989 of China Academy of Fine Arts. The publication of this book has had a certain influence on the research or creation in the fields of art, aesthetics, literature, medicine, psychology and some natural sciences. From 65438 to 0999, the theory of nude art was listed as one of the major cultural achievements in the 50 years since the founding of New China. In 2006, the manuscript was collected by China Modern Literature Museum.
