Reading lesson plan for kindergarten large class: Sunshine of Bear
The first activity: preliminary reading

Activities to be prepared
1. Put the picture book "Sunshine of the Bear" in the reading area a few days in advance, and let the children choose to read it themselves.

Activity process
1. Children read independently.
(1) Children read "Sunshine of the Bear" by themselves, and the teacher prompts the children to take notes on the pages that they don't understand or have questions, or write down the page numbers.

2. The main characters who understand the story through discussion.
(1) Whose story is this book about? Where did you see it?
(2) By observing the images that appear many times in the cover, title page and book, guide the children to determine that the bear is the main character in the book.
3. Read and discuss 2 ~ 7 pages of picture books collectively to guide children to understand the life of Little Bear.
Where does the bear live? What part of the room does he like best? How did you know?
By observing the bear's expression and movements in the picture, guide the children to understand the bear's love for the window and the various scenery seen through the window. )
(2) Does the bear like sunshine? What did the bear do in the sun? Is he happy? Where did you see it?
(3) Guide children to carefully observe page 14, and ask: What preparations did the bear make before hibernation? Where did you see it?
4. read and discuss the picture book 16 ~ 26 collectively to understand the snowman's love for the bear.
(1) What happened to the bear after hibernation? How does he feel about sunshine? Where did you see it? Observe the bear's expression during hibernation and understand the bear's panic under the sunlight. )
(2) Who helped Little Bear later? How did he help? Where did you see it?
(3) Where did the snowman go after the bear woke up from hibernation? Why doesn't it stay and play with the bear?

5. Read "Sunshine of the Bear" completely to help children deepen their understanding of the story.

The second activity: deep reading

2. Enrich children's knowledge about the four seasons and the living habits of bears.
Activity process
1. Read the picture book again to deepen children's understanding of the story.
The teacher showed slides and told the story, and the children enjoyed it.
2. Guide children to observe the details in picture books and discover the changes of things.
(1) There are many changes in this picture book. Please look carefully. For example, it can inspire children, such as the change of clothes of bears in different seasons. )
(2) Children read picture books by themselves. The teacher encourages children to observe carefully and mark the pages where changes are found, such as sticking small notes on them.
3. The children exchange and discuss the changes they found, and understand the relationship between the changes of the four seasons and the life of the bear.
(1) Please tell the page number of the relevant picture and describe any changes.
(2) Every time a child tells a change, the teacher asks: Why are there these changes? What does this mean? (Help children master the reading clues of picture books and find the meaning of picture details.

(2) Children speak freely. Inspire and encourage children to come up with various expressions, such as painting, continuing to write stories, making books and so on.
3. Children's operation activities.
(1) According to the children's discussion, divide the children into several groups, and the children choose voluntarily.
