The library is open 98 hours a week, and the integrated service mode of open lending is implemented to provide a good reading and learning environment for teachers and students. The library is one of the core exchange points of the school campus network.

Jiangsu Institute of Technology, located in Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province, is the only independent undergraduate college in Jiangsu Province, which was established earlier in China. Its main task is to train vocational education teachers. The school was founded in 1984, then named Changzhou Vocational Teachers College.
