1, school introduction
Inner Mongolia Agricultural University was founded in 1958, and its predecessor was Hulunbeier Agricultural College. The school is located in Tuoketuo County, Hohhot City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, covering an area of about 265,438+000 mu.
With a beautiful campus environment and complete facilities for teaching, scientific research and living, it is a comprehensive university with coordinated development of agriculture, medicine, industry, science, literature and management, which is supported by the state and is known as one of the important agricultural higher education bases in Inner Mongolia.
2. Teaching and research
The school has 15 colleges, covering agriculture, medicine, science, engineering, literature, management and other fields. At present, there are 30 undergraduate majors, among which seven majors, such as civil engineering, crop science, animal husbandry, animal medicine, grassland science, food science and engineering, and environmental science, belong to the dominant disciplines with Chinese characteristics.
The school also has a number of authorized units for master's and doctoral degrees, and the library has a total collection of more than 3 million books, which is one of the important forces of higher education and scientific and technological innovation in Inner Mongolia.
3. Teachers.
The school has more than 700 full-time teachers/kloc-0, including more than 600 professors and associate professors with senior titles, more than 60 doctoral supervisors and more than 300 master supervisors.
Many of them have studied or worked in famous universities or scientific research institutions at home and abroad, with high academic status and teaching level, which is a strong support to promote the development of the school.

The school not only has obvious advantages in discipline setting and teaching staff, but also has made a series of achievements in teaching and scientific research, and enjoys a certain reputation at home and abroad.
