Northwest Library follows the principle of * * * resource sharing and provides a wide range of services for readers inside and outside the school. In addition to borrowing and consulting books and periodicals, it also provides international online retrieval, Internet online retrieval, CD-ROM retrieval, interlibrary loan, document delivery, special document tracking, intermediary of agricultural scientific and technological achievements, book binding and other services. At the same time, the course of "Literature Retrieval and Utilization" is offered to all graduate students and undergraduates.

Northwest Library adopts Jiangsu Huiwen automation integration system. Library management, acquisition, cataloging, circulation, periodicals, OPAC and other related businesses have been basically automated. The library automation integration system is connected with campus network, CERNET and Internet. Both on-campus and off-campus users can access our library through the Internet.
