Beijing No.7 Kindergarten, formerly affiliated to private primary schools, was founded in 1933. Later, it was named Beixiaojie Kindergarten. 1973, Beixiaojie Kindergarten merged with Caochang Kindergarten and was named Beijing No.7 Kindergarten.

The seventh kindergarten is a model kindergarten in Beijing.
