Taking readers as the center and resources as the basis, the library provides integrated services of collection, lending, reading and inspection. Reading seats 1700, 200 electronic reading seats. The collection, circulation, retrieval and office of the library are all managed automatically, and the library LAN is connected with the campus network. There are various databases of TCM and related disciplines, including TCM literature database, Chinese biomedical literature database, China biomedical journal database, medical and health scientific and technological achievements database, China scientific and technological achievements database (CSTAD), China medical journal database, Medline, etc. Since 1980s, the teaching and research section of TCM literature retrieval has undertaken the course of TCM literature retrieval in our school, teaching students the knowledge of retrieving various TCM literature, and paying attention to the cultivation of students' autonomous learning ability and practical ability, which has laid a solid foundation for improving the comprehensive quality of our students. 1995 12 Our library was approved by state administration of traditional chinese medicine as the first batch of national sci-tech novelty retrieval units of Chinese medicine industry and the sub-center of China Chinese medicine literature retrieval center. Since 1997, more than 5 novelty retrieval tasks of Chinese medicine science and technology projects inside and outside the school have been completed. 1July, 1999, the novelty retrieval quality of our library passed the evaluation of State Taxation Administration of The People's Republic of China expert evaluation team. 1997 1 1 Our library was rated as the national advanced group of scientific and technological information of traditional Chinese medicine by the State Administration.
