Lecture on "Feeling Space, Paying Attention to Space"

How did the rocket rush out of the earth's atmosphere? How can satellites be used in people's lives? Are the flames and roar of rockets at the space launch site so mysterious? What role does TT&C communication play in space activities? Why can space activities promote the development of related science and technology? Why can it produce huge economic benefits? These are the "five systems" of aerospace application engineering. Sputnik, manned space flight and deep space exploration are called three milestones in the development of space field. With the development of science and technology, the boundless universe has gradually changed from fantasy to reality. ...

The success of space launch inspired people to forge ahead. Space technology has promoted scientific development in related fields, and the demand for space has greatly promoted social progress. ...

At the invitation of the National Library Scientists Forum, Mr. Wang gave a popular science lecture entitled "Feeling Space, Paying Attention to Space" in the lecture hall of Xuejintang of the National Library on the afternoon of June 22, 2008. The lecture hall is full of academic atmosphere. The speaker was impassioned, because he was promoting the space spirit through space knowledge, and hundreds of listeners were absorbed, which reflected their concern and interest in space science.

Wang combined his personal experience in space with what he saw and heard in foreign space launch sites. With a large number of pictures, vivid anecdotes, stories, thrilling success and failure, and the lofty spirit of China astronauts, he led the audience into mysterious space and achieved the effect of "feeling space and paying attention to space".

Mr. Wang has loved the space industry for many years and has participated in the organization, command, planning and coordination of rocket and satellite launches in China and foreign countries for many times. He has visited the Baikonur launch site in Russia, the Moscow Space Command and Control Center, the Kennedy Space Launch Center in the United States, the Tanegashima Space Launch Center in Japan and the satellite launch stations in Singapore and Brazil. He is an aerospace expert who has worked in the aerospace field for a long time and a senior engineer with rich experience in aerospace system engineering. With the theme of "Feeling Space, Paying Attention to Space", he told us the little-known high-tech knowledge about space launch with his own personal experience.

"Scientists Forum" is another brand lecture launched by the National Library. It aims to provide a platform for the general public to communicate with natural scientists, better popularize the theory of natural science, further advocate a social atmosphere of stressing, loving, learning and using science in the whole society, improve the cultural quality and scientific literacy of the general public, create a social environment conducive to scientific and technological innovation, and better serve the construction of a harmonious society and an innovative society. ......
