Liaocheng University Library is located in the northeast of the beautiful west campus. Its predecessor was the Library of Liaocheng Branch of Shandong Normal University, which was established in June 1974 1 1. In July, it was renamed as Liaocheng Teachers College Library 198 1. In September, 20001year, the library building jointly invested by the school and Liaocheng City was completed and put into use. In February, 2002, the Ministry of Education approved the renaming of Liaocheng Teachers College as Liaocheng University, and the library as Liaocheng University Library.
