Wang Qing was born in Shanghai, China. 1982 graduated from the Chinese Painting Department of Zhejiang Fine Arts Institute and worked as a teaching assistant in the Literature and Art Department of Shanghai Jiaotong University. 65438-0985, teacher of Fine Arts Department of Shanghai Normal University. 65438-0987 studied in Japan, and successively obtained Master of Fine Arts from Tama University of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of Fine Arts, Doctor of Fine Arts and Postdoctoral Fellow from Tokyo University of Fine Arts. At present, he is a member of Japan Fine Arts Research Association, and distinguished professor, a Japanese professional painter, is a senior seminar in Chae Yeon of China Ministry of Culture.

He is good at figures, landscape paintings and Japanese rock paintings, and has been widely praised by Japanese art circles and media. He also served as the artistic director of the Sino-Japanese co-production TV series "Shanghainese in Tokyo".
