Hunan Judicial Police Vocational College (hereinafter referred to as "Hunan Police Vocational College") is the only higher vocational college of police system in Hunan Province approved by Hunan Provincial People's Government, put on record by the Ministry of Education and sponsored by Hunan Provincial Department of Justice in 2003.

Founded in 198 1, the college has experienced the development period of Hunan secondary vocational school of reeducation through labor and Hunan judicial police school.
