The college covers an area of 2,000 mu, with the existing land 1, 00 1 mu and the existing building area of about 86,000 square meters. At present, the school has three teaching activity areas. East Campus (main campus), West Campus (former regional agricultural school) and Medical Department (former regional health school). In 2002-2003, the first phase of the project with a total investment of 48 million yuan was completed, with a new building area of 30,300 square meters, a library building area of 4,600 square meters, a comprehensive experimental building area of 5,000 square meters, a student dormitory building area of 6,300 square meters, and a student canteen building area of 2,400 square meters and ancillary facilities. The second phase of the project began in 2004. The second phase has 3200 square meters of student dormitory, 5000 square meters of medical department training building, 5000 square meters of electromechanical water conservancy department training building and supporting facilities. The total investment of the third phase project is about 38 million yuan, which was completed and put into use at the end of September 2005.
