Lu Xun College of Literature is a professional training institution that recruits young and middle-aged writers, literary critics, literary theorists, literary editors and literary translators for research study. It is a bureau-level organization directly under the Chinese Writers Association.
Formerly known as the Central Literature Research Institute, it was founded by the Ministry of Culture and the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and was established in 1950. 1954 changed its name to Literature Studio of Chinese Writers Association; Closed at1958; 1980 was approved to be restored as a literary studio of the Chinese Writers Association; 1984 was officially named Luxun College of Literature.
Luxun College of Literature was once located in Li Nan, Balizhuang, the eastern suburb of Beijing. Entering the gate, there are two small gardens on both sides of the road. There is a moon gate in the south, and the book "Wen Yuan"; There is a "Juyage" in the north, and a stone in the grass garden is very conspicuous, engraved with "Ya Song". Its layout is simple and elegant, and it has a unique flavor. To the south along the forest road, there is a two-story building with an office upstairs and a canteen downstairs, as well as a library and a hospital history exhibition room.
Although the hospital history showroom is small, it has complete information and rich content. It shows the difficult and brilliant course of Lu Xun College of Literature (formerly known as the Central Literature Workshop) in the past 50 years. This is an art gallery. Since the first director Ding Ling, almost all literary masters have taught here. Thousands of writers have come out from here. Therefore, it is well-deserved to be called the cradle of China writers. Although the works displayed here are only a part, they are still dazzling enough to make people linger.
To the north is a five-story teaching building. In front of the brown marble wall of the hall stands a bronze statue of Mr. Lu Xun. Write Mr. Lu Xun's immortal words, "As a thousand fingers point out, bow your head and be a willing ox." On both sides of the hall are the relief heads of China literary masters in the 20th century, and on the left wall are Guo Moruo, Ba Jin, Cao Yu and Ding Ling. On the right wall are Mao Dun, Lao She, Ai Qing and Zhao Shuli.
There is a big classroom, a meeting room for teaching and discussion, and a computer room for online inquiry. There are 100 single rooms on each floor of the building. The furnishings are simple and applicable, with bookshelves and writing tables for books. It provides a good environment for the writer's further research.
On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Luxun College of Literature, that is, 201010/October 26th, I moved from Balizhuang old campus to Yu Hui South Road campus of Luxun College of Literature.
The college organizes a large number of domestic first-class writers, critics, scholars and professors to participate in teaching. Starting from the spring of 2002, Luxun College of Literature will accept the entrustment and direct guidance of relevant departments and offer advanced seminars. Over the past few years, a large number of outstanding writers have been trained for the country.
