Collection Resources of Fujian Library
It mainly collects domestic publications on politics, economy, science, culture and education in this province, as well as foreign publications in English, Japanese, Russian and other languages. By the end of 2002, the collection of books reached about 2.5 million volumes. There are more than 5,000 kinds of Chinese periodicals 15000 (including 3,200 kinds of periodicals before the founding of the People's Republic of China and 47 kinds of newspapers 147, many of which are orphans in China), about 4,000 kinds of foreign periodicals, more than 30,000 kinds of publications in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao, and nearly 400,000 kinds of ancient books and local documents in China (including existing ancient books14 in the province).

In addition, a large number of publications in different media, such as audio-visual materials, CD-ROM materials and microform materials, have been collected in Tibet, and the website of Fujian Library has been established to provide retrieval services for libraries or remote information. The existing full-text electronic resources include: National Scientific Research Network Database, China Science and Technology Periodical VIP Full-text Database, China Periodical Network Thematic Full-text Database (Literature, History, Philosophy, Law and Social Sciences), Wanfang Data Resource System, Scholars' Home Full-text Electronic Books, etc. Bibliographic databases include: genealogical database (collection catalogue), Fujian Chinese social science reference book joint catalogue, English engineering index CD-ROM database, foreign periodicals joint catalogue, Hong Kong and Macao special bibliography, Hong Kong and Macao special information index database, etc. Others include: Taiwan Province Special Database (full text), Fujian Local Native Products Database, State-owned Enterprise Reform Special Database, etc. to meet the needs of readers.

Chinese newspaper

There were about 350 kinds of Chinese newspapers published in the Mainland that year, with more than 43,000 bound volumes. There are more than ten kinds of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan newspapers; Newspapers before liberation. (Please go to the Chinese newspaper reading room on the first floor)

Chinese periodicals

There are 0.5 million kinds of periodicals/kloc-(including tens of thousands of periodicals and pictorial publications published in non-Fujian, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan before liberation), and now more than 4,300 kinds are published. Collect nearly 200,000 bound volumes of periodicals. Chinese books

There are nearly 6.5438+0.7 million Chinese books and more than 50,000 Chinese reference books, among which the collections of Taiwan Province Studies, Fujian Studies, Zhouyi Studies and China Modern History have reached the national research level. ancient books

On the basis of the collection of Aofeng, Fengchi, Zhengyi and Pragmatic Academy, the ancient books in the museum have been successively collected by Fuzhou Library, Fuzhou Reading Newspaper, Luozhou Chenjia, Chongan Panjia and Fuzhou State. From 65438 to 0949, after the founding of the People's Republic of China to the 1950s, many books were collected, such as Wu Shan Library, Datong Building, Zhai and Bingjilu. Collect famous works such as Chen Shaokuan, Fu Yiling and Zheng Xiaoxun, and collect nearly 400,000 rare books of ancient books and local documents. Among them, thread-bound ancient books account for about 1/4 of the existing ancient books in the province, and rare books account for about 1/2 of the existing rare books in the province. At present, there are thousands of genealogical documents in various versions, including the genealogy of the relationship between Fujian and Taiwan and the relationship between Fujian and Southeast Asia, which can provide first-hand information for compatriots in Taiwan Province Province and overseas Chinese to seek their roots and worship their ancestors. Local literature

Including Fujian local chronicles, Fujian people's writings and local literature and history materials. The collection includes local official records, state records, county records, and thematic records such as landscape records, temple records and local records; Fujian people's works include manuscripts, school-based, general engraving, typography, manuscripts and so on. All kinds of literature and history materials of cities and counties in the province are also collected, from which we can learn about local customs and historical anecdotes. Foreign language books

There are more than 40,000 kinds of foreign language books140,000, mainly in Britain, Russia and Japan, including monographs or reading materials on science and technology, economy, literature, language and art, as well as professional reference books and American university catalogs. There are more than 20,000 audio-visual materials such as DVD, VCD, CD, video tape and audio tape, as well as domestic and foreign feature films, TV series, scenery, tourism, language teaching, military affairs, science and technology, sports, health, economy, management, youth education and teaching, etc. At the same time, there are also video materials on Fujian Cultural Information Network. At present, there are more than 30,000 Chinese books published in Taiwan Province and Hong Kong and Macao, and there are about 100 kinds of newspapers (including 3 newspapers and 97 periodicals).
