This tree is very old.

The grass crawled out of the soil, tender and green.

In the garden, in the field,

Look, it's all a big piece.

Sitting, lying down,

Play two rolls, kick a few balls, run a few laps, and grab a few laps.

The wind is quiet and the grass is soft.

This essay was written in 1933. Zhu Ziqing, the author, just returned from roaming in Europe, had a happy marriage with Ms. Chen Zhuyin, and then had children. On the whole, I am in a good mood. Zhu Ziqing's Spring is Full of Green Grass and Warm Spring Breeze vividly depicts this spring scene.

In fact, Zhu Ziqing and the ancient camphor tree in Putuo Mountain still have some origins. One stop of Zhu Ziqing's honeymoon with his wife is Putuo Mountain.

1On August 6th, 932, Zhu Ziqing spent his honeymoon in Putuo Mountain with his new wife and many relatives and friends. A * * * left two precious photos, one of which was beside the ancient camphor tree near the Western Heaven Scenic Area. It can be seen that this Millennium Cinnamomum camphora was very famous during the Republic of China, and many tourists came here to watch the famous tree.

This ancient camphor tree DBH1.94m, 20m high and 40.36m crown. It is the largest ancient tree in Putuo Mountain 1000. It has a history of more than 900 years and is called "Millennium Ancient Cinnamomum camphora". After thousands of years of vicissitudes, this Millennium camphor tree is still lush.

Cinnamomum camphora is the keynote tree species that constitutes the beautiful landscape of Putuo Mountain. There are 98 Cinnamomum camphora 198 plants over a hundred years in the whole mountain, including 59 ancient Cinnamomum camphora with DBH 1 m.

There is a row of camphor trees in the street in front of Fusang Temple. These camphor trees are so big that it takes two people to fold them. It seems to be hundreds of years old. In fact, many camphor trees there are less than a hundred years old, which may be related to climate, sunshine and rain. Mount Putuo is warm in winter and cool in summer, which is especially suitable for the growth of trees, so these camphor trees grow particularly strong.

In Putuo Mountain in April, the fragrance of camphor trees is everywhere. Cinnamomum camphora soaked with human fireworks exudes a unique fragrance. Walking under the tree, the fragrance of camphor trees lingers on the tip of the nose, which makes people feel extremely at ease.

After thousands of years of rain, snow, wind and frost, the surface of camphor tree has already formed the mark of the times, and the wrinkled bark stands here quietly, like an old man who has experienced vicissitudes, witnessing the changes of Putuo Mountain.

Or touch the bark, or pick up the fallen camphor leaves, that faint fragrance will die at your fingertips, which is the best gift of nature.

Lush trees

Strolling through Mount Putuo, full of green. The green vegetation all over the mountains and plains set each other off and become interesting, which is even more quiet.

Strolling on the tree-lined path of Putuo Mountain is endless green, with two lush camphor trees. The sunlight hits the pavilion corner through the shade, and the mottled light and shadow adds a quaint temperament to Putuo Mountain.
