The Shenzhen Campus of Harbin Institute of Technology was established by Harbin Institute of Technology in cooperation with the Shenzhen Municipal Government, with full-time undergraduate and postgraduate education as the main part, supplemented by part-time education. It is the first high-level campus in Shenzhen with a complete undergraduate and postgraduate training system jointly established by the national "985 Project" and "double-class" universities. The predecessor of Harbin Institute of Technology Shenzhen Campus is Harbin Institute of Technology Shenzhen Graduate School, which was founded in 2002.
