Coffee roaster is a new concept introduced by Starbucks on 20 14. The first store is located in Seattle, the global headquarters of Starbucks. Shanghai is the second largest store in the world, with two floors of 2,700 square meters, twice that of Seattle. The coffee roasting workshop is not so much a coffee shop as a beautiful paradise for coffee making, roasting, tasting and surrounding areas.
Although there was a queue at the door for more than ten minutes, the popularity in the workshop was still quite strong. If it's your first time here, the staff will advise you to look around first and get to know it before ordering. There is a coffee baking area, tasting bar and baking market on the first floor.
In the whole coffee workshop, you can fully understand how coffee is roasted, ground and extracted from a raw coffee bean, and finally made into various coffee drinks. The baking area on the first floor occupies the largest area. The coffee master bakes coffee beans inside, and then enters the selection slot of the main bar through five parallel copper pipes. The crackling sound is very pleasant to the ears of coffee lovers, and you can also smell the rich aroma of coffee beans.
There are 400 coffee masters with brown leather aprons at your service. There are only two coffee roasting workshops in the world with leather aprons. They are selected from the national coffee masters (black aprons) and are qualified to wear this brown leather apron. On their own stage, they make coffee for you with seven technologies, such as precise automatic brewing, manual brewing, atmospheric pressure, siphon, cold extraction and vacuum filtration brewing, more than any coffee shop around you.
