Singapore Theological Seminary was founded in 1952. The college has Chinese Theology Department, English Theology Department and Sacred Music College. Diplomas, bachelor's degrees and master's degrees are awarded and a series of related courses are offered. Students can choose Chinese or English to study. In addition, a doctoral program in pastoral science has been set up. Currently, there are nearly 500 students from more than 20 countries and regions. Graduates are distributed in more than 30 countries and regions around the world.
The school has a strong faculty, with many teachers who have obtained master's or doctoral degrees in famous overseas universities and seminaries. The library currently has nearly 70,000 books (including Chinese and English books and sacred music books).
