Guangxi International Business Vocational and Technical College is a national public full-time higher vocational college with the aim of cultivating international applied talents to meet the needs of modern business development, and it is the cradle of Guangxi business industry managers.
The school, formerly known as Guangxi Foreign Trade Work-study School, was founded in 1965. 1978 was named Guangxi Foreign Trade School, and 1984 was renamed Guangxi Foreign Economic and Trade School. In 2002, with the approval of the people's government of the autonomous region, the foundation of Guangxi Foreign Economic and Trade School was upgraded to Guangxi International Business Vocational and Technical College.
The administrative unit of the school is the Department of Commerce of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and the education and teaching business is guided and managed by the Guangxi Department of Education.
