The Lord of fear, who exudes powerful demon power, is an incredible terror and the master of darkness and spirit. This cruel and evil creature was once regarded as the most effective cadre of the Burning Legion. Kilgarden, the leader of the Burning Legion, called his elite demon guards-the vampire-like fear devil-to monitor Ner 'zu to ensure that he threw the human world into chaos according to the orders of the Burning Legion. He easily controlled the minds of many local creatures (such as ice trolls and fierce snow monsters) and shrouded them in his expanding shadow. Ner 'Ozu found that his spiritual power was almost infinite, so he used it to control the dread demon king Ti Tuo Dios. Now, Ti Tuo Dios only works for the Lich King, and Kilbride and his Burning Legion don't know about it. Ti Tuo Dios often appears as a strong male human image, and is good at controlling ordinary creatures through spiritual power. They are shrouded in the darkness of their own making and like to stay away from the sun.

When Nero Zu, the Lich King, led the scourge of the undead to sweep across the mainland of Lordaeron, Ti Tuo Dios, the Lord of Fear, led his army of blood-sucking, bats, insects and hellfire, which was blazing at night, to kill human beings crazily. His achievements in psychological suggestion and mind control can make their enemies suddenly fall asleep. Arthas, the death knight, occupied Northrend and rebuilt the Icecrown Castle. Kel 'Thuzad is in charge of the scourge troops in the plague land, and Ti Tuo Dios is in charge of his army of fear and dark blood-sucking. Fear and blood-sucking have long been synonymous with Ti Tuo Dios, and Ti Tuo Dios has also become the fearsome fear demon king in Azeroth.

Nero Zu, the lich king, quietly spread dark energy in Northrend, a distant northern continent. He built a huge castle on the ice cap to control the huge undead army. It first controlled the minds of many local creatures (including ice trolls) and established its own army. Soon, all the villagers in a human settlement were turned into zombies by its terrible plague. But when the Lich King expanded his territory, a lonely and secret kingdom began to oppose his power. This ancient underground kingdom, called Ezra Nyirabu, was founded by a cruel humanoid spider race. These humanoid spiders dug thousands of dark tunnels deep underground, extending the underground kingdom to almost the whole Northrend continent.

They sent elite troops to attack the ice cap, which made Neruzu give up his crazy idea of conquering them. Nerazu was dismayed to find that these spiders were completely immune to his mind control and powerful enough to compete with his undead army.

Crypt lord Arubarak, the Spider King of Spider-Man, controls a huge army and has a network of underground tunnels covering Northrend. Their guerrilla tactics kept the Lich King busy, but found nothing. In the end, Nerazu struggled to win the war with Spider-Man. Under the attack of the furious fear Lord and countless undead warriors, the spider kingdom Ezra-Nyirabu became a ruin. Although humanoid Spider-Man is immune to Nero Zu's spiritual power, his powerful spiritual ability enables him to manipulate Spider-Man's body and make them fight for him. The dead Spider-Man was transformed into an immortal crypt demon by the Lich King, and the fortresses and buildings suitable for these Spider-Man were built. Their king Anubarak was endowed with an immortal body by Nero Zu, and was ordered to lead these crypt demons to serve the undead army.

Later, Illidan led Naga and the blood elves to Northrend and destroyed the iceberg throne. These crypt demons, under the command of crypt lord Anubarak, helped Arthas, the Death Knight, defeat Illidan's allies. Finally, Arthas ascended the throne of the iceberg and gained the power of the Lich King. At present, Anubarak is assisting the new Lich King to rebuild the Icecrown Castle on the remaining Northrend continent-most of the land and ice have sunk into the sea because of the energy impact, and now only a few large and small islands are left.

Anubarak can summon corrosive beetles and blood-sucking locusts. His immortal body, fierce attack, sharp claws and spikes became the enemy's nightmare. He is the undisputed Lord of Northrend!
