Jiaozhou city No.1 1 Middle School, referred to as "Jiaozhou No.1 Middle School", is a public full-time ordinary high school run by jiaozhou city Education and Sports Bureau. It is a provincial first-class demonstration high school, a key middle school in Shandong Province, a school-based research experimental school in Shandong Province, a key middle school in Qingdao and a national defense education base in Qingdao.
The school's predecessor was Ruihua Primary School and Middle School founded by Swedes in the 26th year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty. 1July, 952, the school was rebuilt and named Jiaoxian Middle School; 1In August, 956, the school was renamed as "Jiaoxian No.1 Middle School in Shandong Province", which was later renamed as Jiaozhou No.1 Middle School. 1987, officially renamed JIAOZHOU No.1 Middle School in Shandong Province; In July 2002, the whole school moved to Xincheng Campus.
