Introduction to Library Statistics
The main ways and methods of implementing quantitative management in libraries. Its task is to investigate, count and analyze library work and library undertakings, provide statistical data, formulate quantitative indicators, implement statistical supervision, study library statistical methods and evaluate library work. Its main functions are: ① to provide data for the compilation and inspection of library plans; (2) To provide basis for scientific decision-making of library leaders at all levels; (three) to provide data for evaluating the economic benefits, social benefits, contributions and work quality of the library; ④ Providing feedback information for library management control.
