Its main functions are: ① to provide data for the compilation and inspection of library plans; (2) To provide basis for scientific decision-making of library leaders at all levels; (three) to provide data for evaluating the economic benefits, social benefits, contributions and work quality of the library; ④ Providing feedback information for library management control.
