The most famous landscape in Jinan is Daming Lake. There is a remote garden by the lake, which can be regarded as China. The least sense of existence? Not only did foreign tourists have little impression before, but many locals didn't know enough about this garden.
Xia Yuan Garden, located on the south bank of Daming Lake, was built in the year of Xuantongyuan (1909). It was originally a part of Shandong Library, and later became one of the landscapes of Daming Lake Park.
The far garden was built according to the specifications of the library building, and its style imitated the famous Tianyi Pavilion in Ningbo. By 19 16, the library in Yuanyuan has reached130,000 volumes. The scenery in this garden is very elegant. Although it is located in the north, most of the year is gloomy and full of vitality. 1928, Yuanyuan was attacked and damaged by the Japanese army. Although it was rebuilt under the auspices of Wang the following year, it was destroyed again in 1937.
Today's far garden has long lost its former glory, but rockeries everywhere are scattered in every corner of the garden like bonsai, and the boundless green contrasts with the lotus fragrance and willow rhyme of Daming Lake not far away. The pavilions and promenades in the park have become places for some tourists to rest.
The gate of the far garden faces west to east. The whole park covers an area of 9600 square meters. A distant garden? These two words were written by Luo.
In the distance, the pavilions in the garden are strewn at random, the promenade is hidden in the dense forest, and Xia Zhishi is still cool.
The green willows in the garden are shaded, the meandering water is clear, and koi fish and other fish in the pool are free to play.

When the weather is fine, it is very pleasant to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Daming Lake while drinking tea, blowing wind and chatting in the teahouse. However, in case of an emergency, the tea drinkers can only run into the long corridor of the distant garden to shelter from the rain, and the teahouse is empty in an instant. Is this the so-called? Although the remote garden was built in imitation of Tianyi Pavilion, it is quite different from Tianyi Pavilion in details. At least the interior architecture is not the traditional horse-headed wall style in Jiangnan, and the similarity of pavilions and corridors is quite high.
