Children's Bridge Edition
My child is in the third grade and has gone through the first and second grades and embarked on the road of independent reading. On the road from parent-child picture book reading to children's independent reading, bridge books have played a very important role.

When you get to primary school, you will find that both books that are matched with textbooks and books recommended by teachers are mainly written books, which are different from the picture books that parents and children used to read.

Moreover, children in grades one and two have limited literacy and have not developed the habit of reading written books. Suddenly, they read the whole text, without pictures, the children have no interest in reading, they can't read any more, and they have difficulty in understanding.

Therefore, the bridge book between picture books and plain text books is a good transition.

There are really too many bridge books. My practical experience is, from in-class to out-of-class, from easy to difficult, from multi-picture to multi-word, from pinyin to non-pinyin, from short to long.

1, Happy Reading Bar Series

Happy reading of Chinese textbooks for one year. Recommended reading-reading with adults, reading nursery rhymes and nursery rhymes.

Children's songs and nursery rhymes are short and pithy, rhyming, catchy to read, story-telling and interesting, and children like to read and understand.

Happy reading bar series of books in senior two, with phonetic notation and pictures, reading fairy tales and children's stories, is in line with children's reading interests.

2. Father and son

Let children look at pictures and tell stories in Chinese textbooks, and the cartoon "Father and Son" appears.

I think this is the simplest bridge book, and the story of father and son is particularly classic. When we were young, we had comic books of our father and son. We feel the affection in humorous stories and the warmth and joy of father and son, so we must let our children read them.

3. The textbook author Jin Bo's Fairy Tales on the Beach and Lin Songying's Path Full of Flowers. Reading their works with Chinese textbooks is the deduction and extension of textbook stories. The teacher recommended buying these two books.

An independent short fairy tale, a short bridge book suitable for children, is not difficult and interesting, with words and pictures, basically half.

The following are good books that my children have read and have been recognized by many teachers and parents. You can choose one or two books according to your child's situation.

1, Little Clap Fairy Tales (Athena Chu Edition)

This set of books is a set of books that I read for my children independently. I recommend it to everyone and it is also a must-read bibliography recommended by the education department. Mr Zhang Qiusheng wrote it.

Children's first and second grades, whether reading in class or after class, are mainly fairy tales. Fairy tales are also our best gifts for children, with beautiful language, warm plot and full of positive energy.

This set of books has been selected as one of the 100-year books in China Children's Literature Classics Department. They are all independent and interesting stories, two or three pages. Children have no dyslexia, and the language looks dull, but it is very attractive after reading.

2. China Classic Story (Pinyin+Color Map)

I think every child in China should be very familiar with the classic stories of China, know our history, know our culture, know our traditions and so on.

For example, Houyi shot at the sun, Mulan joined the army, and there was any trouble in the sea. , are familiar stories, but also very suitable for children to read the bridge book, pinyin, with painted illustrations. Children in grades one and two can read without barriers, and many children have been seen by their parents.

3, children's growth story "Winnie the Pooh Tales"

Winnie the Pooh has been popular in the world for 100 years. A very famous animated image in the world, a growth story that has been loved by generations, has been translated into 10 languages, with colorful pictures and pinyin versions, and the proportion of pictures and texts is suitable for children to read.

I recommend it because every story shows an excellent quality, such as integrity, courage, strength and kindness. It is much better for children to receive subtle education than for us to say that they have affection and know how to be grateful.

4, "Magic School Bus" picture book version

The magic school bus is so famous that there are many versions in China, such as picture book version, animation version, bridge version, humanities version, reading version and so on.

The picture book version suitable for primary school students is 12, of which the picture book version is the one that everyone buys the most. It can be said that the picture book edition is the richest and most famous set, and it is also the originator of this series.

Children will feel a little dizzy at first sight, but it will not affect their attraction to children at all. Maybe this is the classic charm. Stories, dialogues, knowledge points and so on are very rich, and one book can top several other books.

The bridge edition is simpler than the graphic edition, and children over three or four years old can read it. After reading this version, they will find that the picture version is not difficult.

The bridge version has a single picture, few words and concise content.

The names of the characters are listed, which is convenient for comparison and familiarity with the characters, and it is easier for children to fall in love with the characters in the book.

Fans of the magic school, come and join the new adventure of teacher curly and his classmates! In the magic school bus, you will follow them into various magic fields such as space, meteorology, ocean, biology and body, and embark on a brand-new scientific journey!

Others, such as "Little Newton Science Museum" (suitable for primary school students, it is a bit difficult for grade one or two), are also very popular with my children. They are encyclopedias of knowledge, and children choose what they like first. Parents who like it can give their children asylum first.

Little Newton drew on a wide range of materials, from astronomy to geography.

The Little Newton Science Museum covers 13 different knowledge fields, including more than 1000 wonderful topics. It skillfully turns difficult scientific problems into concise and interesting stories, which is very suitable for primary school students to read.

"Little Newton" fed many curious hearts about the world.

In short, there are really too many bridge books. My practical experience is that reading in class extends to extracurricular activities. In senior one and senior two, I choose pinyin picture books, which are classic and helpful for children's growth and character building. In addition, I want my children to know about China culture and broaden their horizons (encyclopedic knowledge).
