General situation of Shanxi Normal University

Shanxi Normal University was founded in 1958, formerly known as Jinnan Normal University, upgraded to Shanxi Normal University in 1964, renamed Shanxi Normal University in 1984, became an authorized unit for master's degree in 1990, and became Shanxi Vocational Normal College and Physical Education College of Shanxi Normal University in 1999.

Since its founding 64 years ago, the school has been adhering to the fine tradition of normal education and deepening the reform of teacher education.
